Haiku Poetry Our First Page Mrs Tessmers 3/4 split has produced a set of seven pages to showcase their Hiaku Poetry talent and their newly acquired HTML programming knowledge. The pages were hand coded using WordPad and they designed their own navigaton graphics. The choice of color palettes are particularly vibrant. Click on the window icon in the upper left hand corner to view these pages.

A few special students from Mrs. Tessmer's 3rd grade worked on a Rainforest web page, related to rainfall. The project involved Microsoft's MSAgent technology, which meant programing a Wizard to move about the page and to speak. The result is a really spectacular page. Besides programming Merlin, the students researched rainfall, developed a database, converted their database into a bar graph, and did their own digital photography.
  The MSAgent technology requires 3 components be installed on your computer:
1)The Microsoft Agent Core
Note: Windows 2000 Users skip this step. The Microsoft Agent Core Components are already installed on Windows 2000.
2)True Voice text to speech.
3)The Merlin Character component. The 3 downloads should take about 14 minutes on a 56k modem. This technology only works in Internet Explorer.
Note: Explorer users can still visit the page without downloading the components, but the experience won't be as meaningful.
