The cornerstone of Talac is PBL (Problem Based Learning) which is a curriculum and delivery approach to 'place students in the active role of problem solvers confronted with driving questions, problems or scenarios that mirror real world applications.' Students work in co-operative groups, to arrive at reasonable solutions, using deductive reasoning techniques.

Computer Lab Curriculum: Sample computer skills are outlined for grades K through 6. Use it to help build your own computer lab curriculum.

Owl & Mouse offers a fairly extensive list of free educational software for the lower elementary level. Learn Letters, Letter Sounds, Map Puzzles (U.S, Europe, South America, Continents and more) Also several programs to create a Farm, Town, Village or Medieval Castle. All the aforementioned programs are very simple programs to download and to use. They are all executables, so no unzipping is required and all are small enough to load onto a floppy.
