Math/Science
Center Staff:
The following consultant and support staff are employed by the Lapeer
County Math/Science Center and the Lapeer ISD to support mathematics, science
and instructional technology:

Pete McCreedy:
The Lapeer ISD Coordinator of General Education Services is the Director of the
Lapeer County Math/Science Center.

Adair Aumock:
The Lapeer County Science Coordinator provides consultant support for science
education. Additional
responsibilities include overseeing the Agriscience and Natural Resources
Program and supporting the integration of technology with science teaching.

Carol Pinneo: The
Lapeer County Mathematics Coordinator provides consultant support for
mathematics education.
v
Mia Smith: A
lab instructor delivers instruction to all fourth through sixth grade students
in Lapeer County during their two visits to the Agriscience
and Natural Resources Program lab at the Vo-Tech Center.
v
Kenneth
Webster: An extension visit teacher provides in-classroom lessons and professional
development based on the curriculum of the Agriscience and Natural Resources
Program for elementary students.

Cathy Amboy: The
Instructional Technology Coordinator supports the integration of technology and
curriculum in all content areas. This coordinator also provides leadership for the
Technologically Active Learning and Aligned Curriculum (TALAC) Project.
Other responsibilities include support for Social Studies curriculum and
professional development.
v Laura Sutton: A part-time Help On Time for Technology support person works with teachers and students in their building/classroom to use technology introduced in workshops sponsored by the center or local districts.
v
Three secretaries provide support for the programs coordinated by the
Math/Science Center.
