The Lapeer County Mathematics/Science Center is one of thirty-three regional centers in the State of Michigan.  These centers provide leadership, curriculum support, professional development, student services, resource clearinghouse, and community involvement to assist local school districts in the delivery of high quality mathematics and science education for the students of Michigan.

Vision

Students in Lapeer County will develop mathematics, science and technology literacy for success as problem-solvers in student and adult roles.

Mission Statement

The Lapeer Math/Science Center will provide leadership, programs, and services to support students and teachers as they work to master complex thinking skills, use problem-solving strategies, and understand the connections of science, technology, and mathematics to the real world.  Interest and involvement will increase and students will develop science, mathematics, and technology skills and understandings essential for full participation in a democratic society.
